{"id":2703,"date":"2017-10-11T12:44:07","date_gmt":"2017-10-11T10:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/websites.fraunhofer.de\/digitalakademie-bw\/?p=2703"},"modified":"2019-04-24T11:29:03","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T09:29:03","slug":"follower-city-workshop-in-sonderborg-cities-are-created-to-serve-the-citizens-needs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triangulum-project.eu\/?p=2703","title":{"rendered":"Follower City Workshop in Sonderborg \u2013 \u201cCities are created to serve the citizens\u2019 needs\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 5th October, a workshop was specifically dedicated to the European Smart City project\u2019s Follower Cities \u2013 cities that are closely following the demonstration actions in the Lighthouse Cities and are learning from these in order to develop their own smart city strategies and replication plans.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, titled \u201cSCC follower cities needs and challenges\u201d, 12 Follower Cities of the EU funded projects presented the barriers, challenges and solutions they have experienced so far. Over 60 people participated in the workshop in person and many more followed by a live stream.<\/p>\n<p>The Follower Cities expressed their needs and explained what challenges they are facing to develop their ideas.
