{"id":4178,"date":"2019-06-17T08:46:25","date_gmt":"2019-06-17T06:46:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/websites.fraunhofer.de\/digitalakademie-bw\/?p=4178"},"modified":"2019-09-02T11:46:01","modified_gmt":"2019-09-02T09:46:01","slug":"triangulum-event-in-stavanger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triangulum-project.eu\/?p=4178","title":{"rendered":"Triangulum Event in Stavanger"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 23 May, Lighthouse City Stavanger hosted a local\nevent called \u201cTriangulum \u2013 what is it and what has it meant for our region?\u201d. Seventy participants from the public and private\nsector such as the Mayor, politicians, researchers, directors, leaders\nand employees from the local partner organisations attended the half-day conference about the\neffects Triangulum has had on Stavanger. The key message was that Triangulum\ngave the city confidence to become a Smart City and that it has created\nEuropean market possibilities for local solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Stavanger partners presented their demonstrations and the positive effects Triangulum has caused in their organisations. For example, Triangulum tremendously helped the municipality in turning Stavanger into a smart city and to take more environmentally friendly decisions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A dedicated \u201cProject Leader Square\u201d helped\nparticipants to easily get into a dialogue with the Triangulum partners during\ncoffee breaks and after the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On stage\nwere the directors of the five Triangulum partner organizations and the Mayor\nof Stavanger. Their shared message was that Triangulum has meant a great deal\nfor all partners in different ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Lyse is implementing\n     the Blink solution in the Follower Cities Sabadell and Prague to test its\n     potential for replication.<\/li><li>The City of Stavanger\n     has developed a long-term strategic approach to become a smarter city and\n     was recently awarded the smartest city in Norway.&nbsp; <\/li><li>The University of\n     Stavanger has strengthened its research department regarding Smart City technology.\n     This has also led to several other\n     grand projects. <\/li><li>Rogaland County\n     Council has lead the way for emission-free buses in Norway. <\/li><li>Greater Stavanger has\n     worked with communication throughout the project. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of\nthe conference was to tell a shared story about the positive effects Triangulum\nhas had on Stavanger and beyond.
